While waiting at the ticket booths for Disneyland/California Adventure, my six-year old son noticed that all the rivets on the decorative fences around the trees in plaza were hidden Mickeys. I had been explaining Hidden Mickeys to him as we came to the park, and he was so proud to spot one right away!

Between the entrances to Disneyland and California Adventure, near the ticket sales booths, the trees have iron cages around the trunks to protect them from the crowds. The circular pieces are bolted to vertical metal strips. Every other bolt (it may not actually function as a bolt) is a Mickey.

You wait in line to get your bags searched before entering the park. While in line, there are these huge trees and brush encased within these blue/green metal bars. The bars are held together by nuts and bolts. If you look closely, certain bolts are in the shape of Hidden Mickeys.

- I found some hidden Mickeys at the new park. The Mickeys are hidden in the metal grate that cover the dirt area that surrounds each palm tree from the front gate to the surf fountain. If you look at the metal grate you will notice it is composed of many interlocking circles. Many of the circles have raised metal bumps. If you just look at the ones with bumps you will see that they form the head and ears of Mickey. The Mickey design is duplicated many times around each palm tree.
REPORTED: John Almeida 10 FEB 01
In the grating at the base of the trees in the entry plaza is a circular pattern which creates a Mickey. Photo to come in a separate e-mail.

- When you are just arriving/leaving the park, there is that front area with the colorful mountains right before you hit the Golden Gate Bridge. Look at the grates that are on the bottom of the trees (live trees, not painted), there are rod iron circles that intertwine and form the 3 circles of Mickey's head.

- Located to the left of Harbor House, the old cast member entrance to the park, is the old Disney University. In front of the building, facing away from the park, are these green hedges that produce Mickey shaped berries! The head looks like a big green berry and two attached smaller red berries, which looks like a green Mickey head with red ears.I don't know if they were made to grow this way, or just a freak occurance, but the Mickey berries do exist!
REPORTED: John Solorzano 28 JAN 98
The Mickey Berries are true! I saw them with my own eyes. The bush is still located near Harbor House. It was trimmed a little, but it's still there even after all the construction. Good Work John for spotting them!

It shows a Disney version of the Hollywood Walk of fame, with the markers being HMs instead of being stars! In the waiting area for casting, the Welcome sign has a Hidden Mickey! Not really Hidden, but few non-CM people have seen the Sorceror Mickey and the Classic Mickey signs on the wall by the Prevue Center's parking lot (Guest parking for TD building too.)

Those Antenna Balls are decor and they're not stupid! They're sold most everywhere in the park too. During Christmas time you can find ones with little Santa hats on, which I think dress them up a bit. Antenna balls reading Disney Imagineering have the same ball with a Sorcerer's Apprentice hat on and are Imagineering exclusives, I believe.

- This could just be wishful thinking, but I could swear I found a naturally occurring Hidden Mickey. I was riding the monorail from the Disneyland Hotel. I was sitting with my back to the front of the monorail on the far right side of the car. I was looking down and to my left side at the lily ponds as we were heading into Tomorrowland. I saw three lily pads in the shape of Mickey's head and ears. It could have been just a naturally occurring formation, but it's also possible that the Imagineers designed the pads that way.

- I found a hidden Mickey right outside the exit of the park. Go to the exit turnstile furthest to the left. I'm not sure if this is the exact spot but I do know that there are three holes in the ground in the bottom right hand side of one of the cement squares. I think you have to walk about 10 or 15 feet from the left turn style but I am not sure.

Parades: Disney's Eureka! A California Parade

- It is on the Skaters Float in the parade. It's near the front on the lower right side of the cut out circle where the skater does stunts, and it's turned on its side. Visible from both sides of the float. Look at the circles on the picture I'm sending. The pinker circle is the face. The two circles that are more beige in color are the ears.
