The only colors in the film are the six that the original comic strip appeared in: red, blue, yellow, green, orange, purple, plus black and white.

In Dick Tracy, Warren Beatty had a gold pencil and and a golden lighter made for him with the inscriptions DT on them. They were only meant as contents in Tracy's pockets and were never featured in the movie. The purpose was to add a feeling of authenticity for Beatty. (original source: Premiere magazine)

Another cameo in Dick Tracy... Charles Fleischer, the voice of Roger Rabbit, is a reporter in blue. Coincidently, the movie ran with a Roger Rabbit short attached to it.
