  1. Toy Story 2 on DVD was recalled in certain areas...according to mrshowbiz.com they recalled it due to midway through the movie it cuts to an R-rated romantic comedy, High Fidelity, that has some not so clean words, Disneys claim was it was the manufacture's fault.

  3. Both Geri (from the short shown before "A Bug's Life") and some of the characters from "A Bug's Life" makes apperances. Yes, Geri is obvious as the toy mender, but the bugs are harder to see: in the first scene with Buzz in the Toy Store, look over his shoulder and there are a bunch of toys from "A Bug's Life" on one of the displays. Dim is very easy to spot (there are a lot of him) as well as a few Flicks on the ground.

    Geri, the caricatured old gentleman from the 1997 Acadamey Award winning Pixar short "Geri's Game" makes a cameo appearance as the Toy Cleaner. He even supposedly has chess pieces in one of the chest drawers.

    In the movie "Toy Story 2," in Al's Toy Barn, there is a display of Bug's Life toys. There are toys of Dim and what looked like Dot.

    In Andy's room is A Bug's Life calendar -- it hangs near the window. In one scene in Al's Toy Barn, hanging at the end of an aisle, are toys from A Bug's Life! There are Dim's (the large beetle) hanging on hooks, and I think a Flik laying on the floor. The "Cleaner" is "played" by the old man in Pixar's latest short, "Geri's Game." (Look for the chess pieces in his cleaner's kit!)

    When Geri searches through his "sewing kit" to sew Woody's arm back on, he looks through all the drawers. In one of the them, we can get a glimps of what seems to be chess peices!

  9. When Rex, Mr. Potato Head, Tour Guide Barbie, Slinky Dog, and Hamm are riding around Al's Toy Barn, Rex realizes that his strategy guide tells how to defeat Zurg. He then places the guide in front of everyone causing Tour Guide Barbie to lose control of the car. As Mr. Potato Head says, 'Hey, get this outta here, Geek-osaur" we see a close-up of the strategy guide's cover for about one second. On the back cover there is a barcode, and a price label that reads: $4.95 Canada $50.00.

  16. Did you know that in Toy Story II, Woody is worth alot of money, since he's an old toy. But when Jessie shows him the cartoons he used to make, when TV was balck and white, he had a gun. In the movie, Woody does not have the gun. So in the movie Woody is not all complete.

In the movie Toy Story 2, when Woody and Jessie are getting out of the moving airplane, Woody throws the loop in his string around a screw and they all swoop down out of the airplane onto the Horse. Where Woody's string would usally say something like "There's a snake in my boot," there is no saying that comes out of him. Check it out!

At the beginning of the movie (during the video game), Buzz hops across several disks while trying to get to "Zurg's Source of Power." As he hops, different tones are played. Some people have said that it was the Star Wars, theme, and other people have said it's from Close Encounters of the Third Kind. It's from neither. It is, in fact, Also Sprach Zarathustra (more commonly known as the theme from 2001: A Space Odyssy).

UPDATE: Christian 22 MAR 02 "Tiny Toy Stories" is a twenty minute video with 5 cartoons. The collection includes The Adventures of Andre and Wally B., Luxo Jr. (1986 Oscar nomination, Best Animated Short Film), Red's Dream, Tin Toy (1988 Academy Award-winner, Best Animated Film) and Knick Knack.
