1. When crossing the bridge from Safari Village/Discovery Island into Harambe Village there are remnants of an old fort left in the concrete. Follow them to the right and at a small metal manhole type cover there are pebble in the shape of his ears.

   In Harambe, the African village, there is a hidden Mickey in the pavement between the Tamu Tamu ice cream shop and the bridge connecting the Oasis with Africa. Its made up of rocks and pebbles.

   On the ground as you enter Harambe from Asia, if you stay to the right side and look down, there is a hidden Mickey formed from a water access cover. There are two covers and they are round of course, one of them has rocks around it to form the rest of Mickeys face and ears. This is definately a hidden Mickey.

2. On the popcorn cup/bucket sold in Africa from one of the popcorn stands, there is a hidden Mickey in the sand. It is the classic outline (one big circle with two little ones on top) of Mickey's head. It is below the giraffes head, between the two elephants and is on the left side of the jeep Mickey and Minnie are riding in. If you still can't find it, it is just above and to the left of the Animal Kingdom logo. My mother purchased this cup during the holiday season of 2001. I am not sure if this cup/bucket is sold anywhere else in the parks.

Harambe Village

1. In Harambe Village there is a sack of grapefruit hanging from a window above the bathrooms. Three of the fruit facing the street are arranged into a perfect Mickey.

2. One neat tidbit of info, that no one will ever see unless they climb this baobob tree is a hidden iguana. It is the baobob that has the thatched roof surrounding the tree.

1. A cast member showed us a small Hidden Mickey just to the right (facing the front) of Tamu Tamu Refreshments in Harambe. A very small, round utility cover with pebbles in the ground forming a familiar shape.

   The sewer cover outside the Tamu-Tamu drink stand, to the right from the main bridge. If you face the "cool drinks" sign near the water-mist fans, its the sewer cover to the left. The Mickey is made out of pebbles and rocks pressed into the concrete path. The whole affect is a little more than one foot across. (0.3 meters or so?)

Mombasa Marketplace/Ziwani Traders

1. While browsing through Ziwani Traders, I found what I think is a Hidden Mickey. While standing in the center of the trading store, face the exit which leads out to the drink/refreshment stand in front of the Pangani Forest exploration entrance walkway. Look up on the top shelves of the store and you see various supplies needed for your safari. Look up to your right, in the corner are three nets (butterfly?) which are arranged to form a tri circle Hidden Mickey. The head is circular, the ears are slightly oval but arranged in the 10 and 2 o'clock positions forming the ears.

   The Hidden Mickey reported for Mombasa Marketplace/Ziwani Traders is (I believe) wishful thinking. The nets that are in the positions of Mickeys ears are much larger than the one in place for his head that it is so out of proportion.

2. Inside the shop, look around the ceiling of the section with all the expensive stuff. There are three netsover laping each other. If you ignore the nets andfloww the outline of the three hoops you get a Mickey silloute.

Duka La Filimu

1. A hidden Mickey is located in the Africa area of the Animal Kingdom of Walt Disney World. It is located just out side of the Mombasa Market Place on the side facing the Duka La Filimu very close to the building to the left of a door way about 1 foot from the wall. After crossing the bridge from the Tree of Life to Africa continue straight down the street toward the Kilimanjaro Safaris ride. There are a number a buildings on your right hand side. It is about the middle of the group of buildings along that path. It consist of a metal circular drain cover about 10 inches in diameter for the face and in the concrete around the drain cover are two 4 inch circular groups of 1 inch rocks perfectly spaced for the ears. There are no other rocks around the drain cover except at the two locations for the ears.

1. There is a large Hidden Mickey in the concrete just to the right of the first thatched roof hut as you walk by the gift shop. Look down as you get to the gift shop and it is straight ahead can not miss it it is beige or light tan in color.

   Behind the fruit stand in front of the Safari entrance, there are several trees and benches (I hesitate to call this a courtyard). Walking the path through the trees, the path is mainly made up of irregular blocks of red-and-white stone and normal cement. Clearly in the cement, facing the back of the fruit stand and its grass-hut-like counters, is a large Mickey several feet across. The cement itself forms the Mickey and looks like it was laid separately from the rest of the cement. (ie, there's a clear outline)

   In Harambe Village there is a small island shaped rest area of trees and benches along the path that leads from the Safari queue areas to the Railroad Depot, near the pin station. There is a large hidden mickey in the pavement made from mud-colored asphalt surrounded by flagstones.

2. Near the beginning of the queue to Kilimanjaro Safaris is a "Harambe Fruit Market" stand. To the right of it is a section of cement poured into the shape of a Mickey head.

3. On your way to Pangani Forest... look at the sidewalk to the right of Harambe Fruit Market. Probably the largest Hidden Mickey in the park (at least 8 feet across).

   As you walk towards the entrance for Pangani Forest, there is a small courtyard to the right behind a station selling refreshments. Look down at the darker-colored cement and you will see a very good Hidden Mickey.

   In the Africa area near the refreshment stand on your way to the train station the ground is has a discolored patch in it about six feet wide. It almost looks like a shadow and it forms a perfect hidden Mickey.

   On the pathway past the Ziwanis Traders and the Fruit stand, towards the Rafiki's Planet Watch trains, there is indeed a large hidden Mickey in the cement. The effect is created by false "cracks" in the path, which are dense enough to form clear circles that are distinguishable from the rest of the walkway. The whole thing is approximately 6-8 feet across. (2.2 - 2.4 meters, maybe?)

Kilimanjaro Safaris

1. I spotted a hidden Mickey in the Kilimanjaro Safari waiting line. It's on the branches of the big baobob tree. First, you have to be on the other side of the little animal enclosure that you see when you get in line. Look up in the branches and you'll see it.

2. I recently went to DisneyWorld for Magic music days and I was in line for the safari ride in Animal Kingdom and there are Mickey head sheped leaves to the right of the line in the bushes. I was amazed how Disney can even turn nature in to Mickey :)

3. In the queue, there is a Hidden Mickey. It is located on a water jug on the rafters overeheaad just before (maybe 10-20 feet) crossing over the coverd bridge. It is a small Hidden Mickey but can be seen easily. 1 large circle and 2 smaller ones surrounded by smaller white dots.

   In the rafters there is a Hidden Mickey on a water jug. It has one large circle and two smaller ones, and is surrounded by smaller white dots. It was reported as being 10-20 feet before the covered bridge. I saw it around 80 feet from the bridge, but I also found another Hidden Mickey around 20 feet from the bridge that doesn't meet the first description.

4. In the queue, it is about 20 feet from the yellow sign that says "Welcome to Harambe Wildlife Reserve." It is on a round black object and the face and ears are outlined in gold. White dots can be found in the large circle, but not anywhere else on the object.

5. There is a hidden Mickey located in one of the vehicles netbags in the front cab with the driver I cannot remember the vehicle number. It is a plush toy. Only one vehicle has this though.

6. On the safari, there is a large hidden Mickey at the flamingo pool. About half way through the ride, between one of the baobobs in center elephant and a watering hole, there is a flamingo island in the shape of the famous mouse. It might be covered by the amount of birds they put there.

7. When you pass under the Elephant bridge you will see the red ground with footprints and tuskmarks, on the left hand side 3 footprints are apart and make a Hidden Mickey.

8. If you look closely on the bayobob trees across from the elephants (when the song is playing on the radio) each of the bayobobs has a Mickey painted on its trunk. It is best seen when you look back after passing the trees.

9. When took part on Kilimanjaro Safaris in March '00 we made a lot of photos. At home we discovered a Hidden Mickey on the neck of one of the giraffes. It's not really a tri-CIRCLED one, but has anyone ever seen a giraffe with circles?

10. After you pass the flamingo pool you will see large rocks with 'cave' drawings on them on the middle rock on the right is a Hidden Mickey etched into the rock.

    After you pass through the main elephant area, before you round the corner to the red clay canyon, you pass through a gate with "rock" on both sides. Look to the back right, about 5 feet up. This one is made up of dark indentations.

11. As soon as you pass the rock paintings and round the curve look over to your left. There is a large mud hole where the white rhinos usually gather. It is in the shape of a Mickey head. I was a driver at Kilimanjaro Safari's from August 1999 to January 2000. I found this hidden Mickey during training. The funny thing is, my trainer didn't even know it was there! Remember, it's just before you get to the cheetahs!

    Right after the flamingo pond, before you get to the cheetahs, there are 3 watering holes...greenish in color, that are in the shape of a hidden Mickey. I, too, was a driver for Kilimanjaro, and know about and have seen this Mickey. They do flood in rainy weather and I was told by my trainer that WDW staff has to keep digging these holes out to keep the Mickey from getting completely messed up and merging together.

12. There is a silhouette Mickey on one of the rocks in the lion exhibit on the safari. As you come up on the lions, there are several pillars of rocks and one short one on the right. Watch the short one as the jeep drives around the end. I swear I see two ears, the curve of forehead, and a nose facing the right on the side of this rock. This rock looks saddle-shaped once you pass around to the other side.

14. The largest Hidden Mickey is in the Savana on the Safari Ride you can not see it clearly unless you are in the air. It is behind the scenes of the Safari just beyond where the ride goes through. The Hidden Mickey is in the terrain. This one's just for CMs!

Along the Pangani Forest Nature Walk there is a dark room that houses the Naked Mole-Rat exhibit. On the ceiling are a series of small round spotlights. Three of these lights have been positioned to make a Mickey head on the floor of the burrough. REPORTED: anon 15 AUG 97 Halfway through there is a building that houses naked mole-rats and if you stand just to the right of the glass case you can see a "warning light" in a burrough in the shape of Mickey.
