The World Showcase water area is 185 acres and is larger than Disneyland!

When looking at World Showcase from the Kiosk on the left side at the rail of the lagoon or from the pathway by Mexico from Future World, the Hollywood Tower Hotel at the Studios can be seen. It blends in with the architecture of the World Showcase.

The office for the President of Epcot is behind Mexico and Norway in the Costume building. Many other offices are there also.

Most of the countries have water based rides or movie attractions due to costs.
If you could go behind most of the buildings in the Showcase you would see that the elaboriate construction used in the realism of the buildings stops. I know this because I went there for a parade our band did. Also they very specifically instructed us not to photograph anything behind the scenes
