On the outside of the Haunted Mansion there are several small, decorative corner stones placed around the top of the mansion. They appear to be Mickey silhouettes (NOT the familiar three circle Mickey). We tried to view them through the zoom lens o our camera, but could never bring them close enough to confirm that they were indeed Mickeys.

While looking at the gates going towards the Haunted Mansion, there is a wreath that is shaped like the familiar two small circles and one large circle. It's a bit oblong.
REPORTED: Amanda 21 JAN 01
As you enter the Haunted Mansion, right after the gate to the left is a bush with red and purple flowers. If you look closely at the flowers, you will notice that most have a familiar shape. Did the Disney horticulturists do this on purpose?
REPORTED: Fudgie 10 DEC 97
When you go into the Haunted Mansion, right after you pass through the main gate on your left side you will see a bush thats has 3 flowers 2 red flowers make up the ears and a purple flower resembles the face.

The flowers can also be seen on you left as you are leaving the Mansion
CONFIRMED: Shayna Paul 14 DEC 99

On the New Leota Tombstone at the Haunted Mansion, there are 2 hidden Mickeys. One in each corner under the face in the flowers. The middle of one of the flowers makes up the head and the petals above it make up the ears. Its the same on the other side but mirrored.
REPORTED: Ghost Relations Dept. 23 MAR 02
When getting ready to enter the actual building that houses the Haunted Mansion, you will see the tombstones to your left. One of the tombstones (I believe it was the one closest to the building), has two sprigs of leaves carved on it at the bottom. Right underneath where these two sprigs cross, there are three small bumps together also in the stone that make a Hidden Mickey. It is tilted about 45 degrees, but it is pretty obvious once you see it.
REPORTED: Tom Peterson 07 DEC 00
As you enter the first staging area (before the stretching room), carefully look at the picture frame hanging over the fireplace. The border around the upper half of the frame is composed of small Mickey heads. The lower half is also Mickey heads, but these are upside down. This was pointed out during the "Keys to the Kingdom" tour.
REPORTED: anon 26 JAN 02
The entrance area is a Hidden Mickey. It is a structural Mickey - the architectural plan of the stretching rooms is in the shape of Mickey. In the Haunted Mansion, there are two elevator rooms or "stretch" rooms. Walt Disney World doesn't usually tell guests that there are 2 stretch rooms. These stretch rooms are located in such away around the circular central foyer, where the fireplace and the changing portrait are, that they create a large Hidden Mickey. When you walk in, you are taken into a round foyer. This room is the head. Then, you enter one of two stretching rooms that open on either side of the fireplace. Each one is an ear. If viewed from above as a whole or on a set of plans, the layout forms the typical tri-circle Mickey. The worst part about this Hidden Mickey is that you can't really see it since it is only visible by looking at the blueprints. See the list of contributors Note: I am no longer taking reports on this one unless there is a refurb and the Imagineers change this effect.
In the Haunted Mansion, near the very beginning of the ride, there is a series of portraits hanging on the wall to the left. On one of the portraits, one of the pupils is actually a hidden Mickey.
REPORTED: Jeremy 02 NOV 00
I got an "up close and personal" look this past weekend at all the pictures in the portrait room of the Haunted Mansion... None of the pupils are hidden Mickeys.

When you see the piano playing look at the stool where the ghost is sitting (even though you can't see the ghost). There are two other lights that point down from the ceiling that give a shadow off of the stool to make the Mickey ears.
REPORTED: Aaron Thomas 26 JUL 00
There is an obvious hidden Mickey in the Mansion at the piano scene. The piano seat and 2 lights from above form a hidden Mickey.
CONFIRMED: Melissa Kranyik 12 FEB 02
While it is true (I saw it MANY times myself over the last 1 1/2 years), the hidden Mickey made up of shadows by the first piano stool in the Haunted Mansion was gone when we visited on 2/23/02. It appears that the lighting may have been moved causing the shadows to no longer appear where they did when the hidden mickey was visible. Will check again in the next few weeks.
UPDATE: Jim Stewart 24 FEB 02
We visit the Magic Kingdom almost yearly and this past weekend I thought I heard a "hidden Mickey" in the Haunted Mansion. In the area of the knocking and "breathing" doors I am sure I heard Mickey say "Help get me out of here". My family thinks I'm crazy but I'm sure I heard it.
REPORTED: Ruth Santello 01 APR 00
This is not Mickey crying "let me out", but the corpse in the coffin just before the creaking doors section. If you have RealPlayer you can hear the audio loop
WISHFUL THINKING: Christopher Paris 06 APR 00
Although it certain that the voice is high-pitched like Mickey's, this voice belongs to Xavier Atencio, the Mansion's script writer and the man who the tombstone outside marking the remains of "Francis Xavier" is dedicated to.
UPDATE: Foxx 18 APR 00
As the ride stopped suddenly, I decided to look around the place. I turned around slowly and saw something peculiar. I was looking at the coffin and at the bottom right corner behind the flower arrangement, there is a bible. On the bible there is an obvious hidden Mickey.

It looks like Imagineers have touched up some of the ghostly figures in the Haunted Mansion. The first giant spider you see, on your right, now has three circles on its back. I believe they are a glowing orange. The second spider, on your left, no longer has the "red Mickey bow tie" that it once did. It had more colors and shapes on it this time. I don't believe it made any particular shape.

Arrangement of plate and adjoining saucers on the banquet table. Look on the bottom left corner of the table there are three plates in the shape of a Mickey. The place setting is one big plate and two smaller bread plates or bowls clearly forming a classic tri circle Hidden Mickey. This is a very popular hidden Mickey. However, it occasionally disappears and then reappears a day later when the cleaning and dust replacement crews forget to replace it after cleaning overnight. See the and the list of contributors Note: I am no longer taking reports on this one unless there is a refurb and the Imagineers change this effect.
We spoke to a cast member just 3 days ago who told us that the Mickey formed by the plates on the table in the Haunted Mansion is not an "official" Hidden Mickey. There is a drawing on the table by the Imagineers for exact placement of each place, glass, etc. There is no Mickey in this plan. The cast members have made this Mickey on their own, thus it will disappear when the table is reset by the "official" drawing.
