  1. Just before Sebastian comes on stage, the lasers converge above the stage. In the center, just before the lasers turn off, there's the distinctive three circle pattern of a Hidden Mickey.

When the laser lights in the beginning get ready to shut down at the top of the stage the middle set of lights forms a Mickey!!!

When the laser light that creates the effect of being underwater ends, the laser comes together and creates a hidden Mickey.

  2. The show begins with slides that change into a movie showing the boat coming toward the audience. As the prow dips into a wave for the second time, watch the foam at the prow. As the foam dissipates, a Hidden Mickey is revealed.
REPORTED: michael sturm 27 JUN 95
I couldn't find this Mickey, but the footage they're using is lifted straight from the film's opening, so anyone with a VCR and a copy of the movie on videotape can check this one for themselves at home.
WISHFUL THINKING: Dan Amrich 24 SEP 95
The foam does make a Mickey. I haven't checked it out on the video tape yet, but it sure looked like a Mickey to me.

  3. I sat in the second row just right of center stage. If you look up at the stars on the ceiling, straight up from where I was sitting you can see the outline of Mickey's head -- a Hidden Mickey.
REPORTED: Jill Kovalic 05 SEP 96
  4. When Ursula appears on stage in The Voyage of the Little Mermaid, wait for her to lift her front tentacle. On the bottom you can see a sideways Hidden Mickey formed by the "suction cups" on her tentacle.
REPORTED: Mark Bukowski 25 MAR 99
  5. Flourescent markings, which glow under our powerful black lights, are painted on the floor of our stage. These marks guide our performers and technicians in the dark. A few feet back from center stage, someone has painted (in flourescent green) a small, classic-styled hidden Mickey (the one with one large circle for the head, and two smaller circles for ears). He is about the size of a half dollar and glows very brighly during each show. Of course you can only see it if you are actually on the stage, so it's impossible for guests in the audience to ever see it. It wasn't "created" by Walt Disney Imagineering, so it's not an "official" hidden Mickey. It was in fact, put there by a fellow performer. And we love it.
